About us News Research Parents Register

Welcome! At the Oxford Brookes University Babylab, which was set up in early 2009, we study how babies and toddlers learn about the world around them. We are particularly interested in how language affects the way in which babies group objects together, and how babies understand emotions.

We are always very intersted in recruiting new babies for our studies. If you would like to visit us and let your baby participate in our studies please see the parents page.

Babylab Coffee Mornings

We organise Babylab coffee/cakes and play mornings every last Thursday of the month from 9:30-12:00 where you can come with your children to find out more about our work in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Click here for details.

If you would like to be informed of future events, please keep an eye on these pages, , register with us, or join our Facebook group.

Our research is funded by the ESRC.
